About Us
Lonsdale Auto Works was founded by owner Scott Pelava. As an ASE-Certified Master Auto Technician & Service Consultant, he saw the need for a more modern auto service center in the fast growing community. A strong background in domestic and import vehicles was his launching point. With himself and one apprentice he built a reputation for quality service and fair pricing. As the need arose, additional technicians have been brought on to keep up with our customers need for fast, quality service.
Scott lives in Lonsdale with his wife Sandy & their son & daughter.
Customer service manager John Thielen is available to address whatever concerns you may have. Give him a call or drop in to schedule service, arrange for one of our free loaner cars, or any other matter you may have.

Technician Barry Wetzel is experienced in all systems of all makes and models. He is an ASE-Certified Master Auto Technician. He attends advanced technical training regularly to keep current with the ever changing automotive technology.
Barry & his wife Michelle, along with his two daughters, live in Elysian.
Technician Chad Anderson is an ASE-Certified Automobile Technician & our medium & heavy duty truck technician. Chad is also a factory trained Lexus & Cadillac technician. He services all aspects automobile & light, medium & heavy duty trucks. His extensive experience includes construction & paving equipment, forklifts, skidsteers & portable equipment. Chad also certified by the Minnesota State Patrol as a Commercial Vehicle / DOT Inspector. Furthering his knowledge base is done through various advanced training opportunities.
